Photographic Prints
The packaging method for photographic prints depends on the size to ensure the delicate surface remains pristine:
Smaller than A4: These are flat-packed in individual, white-label “Do Not Bend” envelopes with rigid backing to prevent creasing.
A4 and Larger: These are carefully hand-rolled in protective, acid-free tissue paper and shipped in extra-thick cardboard tubes. Rolling A4+ photos provides the best structural integrity against impact during transit.
Fine Art Prints
A4 and Smaller: All small fine art prints are shipped flat in heavy-duty cardboard mailers. These reinforced envelopes provide superior edge protection for premium papers.
Larger than A4: These are hand-rolled in protective tissue paper and housed in our signature extra-thick cardboard tubes, designed to withstand significant pressure.
Framed Prints
Our packaging for framed items is engineered to prevent glass breakage and structural damage:
Protective Wrap: Every framed or canvas print is wrapped in a protective greaseproof paper to prevent surface scuffing.
Heavy-Duty Housing: Each item is then shipped in a heavy-duty, double-walled cardboard box. Our internal packing ensures the frame is secure and buffered from the box edges to minimise the risk of transit damage.
Our Commitment to Quality
Our packaging standards have been refined over many years, and it is now extremely rare for breakages or damage to occur. On those rare occasions when accidents do happen, we strive to ensure that your replacement is organised immediately and shipped back out on a priority service without any fuss.
